About
Sydney Zombie Walk is an annual Charity event, where people get dressed as Zombies to walk the streets of Sydney CBD.
We do this to create awareness and raise funds for charity.
Family friendly, All ages welcome, pets welcome, the worse you look the better!
2025 EVENT Highlights
- Special guest: Alex Greenwich, Member for Sydney.
- Exclusive Screening of Australian Zombie Film: Zombie Plane on event day. Stars: Sophie Monk, Vanilla Ice. Meet and have your Zombie photo with them!
- Cosplay Competitions with great prizes, Guest Judges: Sophie Monk, Vanilla Ice.
- Also, it will include a filmed activation, featuring the Sydney Zombie Horde with Sophie Monk and Vanilla Ice! Be there to be in the short film!
- Police block streets for us Zombies to walk down.
- Exclusive Zombie Film Residence, mingle with the stars.
- KIIS FM Live on site.
- Zombie Dancers to Thrill you! Join in if you dare!
- Zombie Horses and Riders.
- Zombie Photo Wall to get that perfect shot.
- Instant Photo Prints! Convert your photos to prints on the spot (and maybe have them signed by the celebrities)

History
Since 2009, thousands of zombies have dragged their rotting limbs across Sydney’s streets for the Sydney Zombie Walk.
The event started in Newtown and then moved to the city. Previous walks have gone down George Street, Macquarie Street, Pitt Street and even down to the Opera House.
